2025 LUTHER SOCCER INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP

Day Camper: $313* ($295 + $18 fee)
Special (AM only): $158 ($150 + $8 fee)
*All Campers will receive a Norse Soccer Camp t-shirt and be lunch is provided  throughout the week

LEARN THE LUTHER WAY!

The Luther College Soccer Camp offers Iowa and the Midwest top-quality soccer instruction. The camp enables aspiring players to learn the basic techniques and tactics of the game in an atmosphere of positive encouragement and support, while advanced players receive collegiate/pro-level training. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. This camp is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 14.

Location: Luther College Soccer Fields

Check In

Check-in will be held on Monday, July 21 from 9–9:30 a.m. at the Luther College Soccer Fields. Camp fee must be paid in full during online registration prior to first day of camp.

Check Out & Pick Up

Day campers can be picked up after the final training session each day at the Gerdin Fieldhouse north parking lot—south of the soccer field.

On the final day, there will be a closing ceremony from 5–5:30 p.m. that includes a highlight video of the camp. All parents are invited to join. Details of the location of the closing ceremony will be shared closer to the start of camp.

Daily Routine:

  • 9:00 - 9:30 AM | Strength and Agility
  • 9:30 - 11:30 AM | Session I (Technical)
  • 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM | Lunch (provided by camp)
  • 1:00 - 2:30 PM | Fun Activity (indoor pool, slip 'n slide, capture the flag, indoor soccer)
  • 2:30 - 4:00 PM | Session II (Tactical)
  • 4:00 - 5:00 PM | Match Play
  • 5:00 - 5:30 PM | Closing Ceremony (Last day only)

Description of Daily Sessions

Session 1 Technical (9:30–11:30 a.m.)

Speed and agility exercises, circuit training designed to improve all aspects of their technical game: shooting, passing and receiving, dribbling, technical moves, and defending. There will be a progression as the week goes on to build on the previous day. Each session will conclude with a competitive themed game.

Session 2 Skill Games (2:30–4:00 p.m.)

The skill game session provides fun and challenging activities where our campers can hone their specific skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and juggling. Skill games will include soccer, tennis, horseshoes, goalie wars, power shot, and many more.
